Our advisers

We have experienced advisers in every part of Sweden. They specialise in providing counselling and guidance to workers who have been laid off and need a new job or to those who are employed and want to develop their skills or change profession.

Your place of work determines where you get an adviser

It is your current or most recent place of work that determines where in Sweden you will be assigned an adviser. If you are unable to meet with your adviser in person, you can choose to meet digitally instead.

Our advisers are not employed by the Public Transition Organisation; they are contracted subcontractors who specialise in transition and career counselling and guidance.

What help can I get from my personal adviser?

Counselling and guidance from a personal adviser:

  • provides support and helps you get back to work if you have been laid off
  • provides employees like you with a personal action plan for your future career
  • is based on your needs, circumstances and what you want or need to change
  • provides extra support and help if you have been laid off and have special needs due to illness or disability
